I'm so happy! So very, very happy! I'm also so damn proud to be an American, especially an American living abroad. As of January 20, 2009 I will no longer have to cringe when the president of my country speaks. I'm proud, proud, proud today to be an American-prouder than I have ever been!
Yay!!!
I've been up since 3AM and now I have to go to work. It's going to be a bleary/tiring day for me, but quite a joyful one.

I feel the same way. :)
I was so nervous! Even when a win looked like a sure thing, I kept remembering the last election and reminding myself that it's not over til it's over.
I feel like this is the beginning of a new and wonderful time in our country's history.
I, too, am damn proud. But I'm still not singing that stupid Lee Greenwood song. I mean it.
USA! USA!
Again I say YAY!!!!
Wow doesn't even begin to describe it - I wish you could have been here in Seattle to celebrate with us - it was incredible! People were dancing in the streets, hugging, honking, laughing and crying! A drag queen standing on top of Neighbor's bar on Capitol Hill led the crowd in singing the Star Spangled Banner - how often do you see that!?
Wow!!!
I'm sooooo envious! I wish I could have been there to see all that!
